Field Superintendent (Residential Construction)

to oversee daily on‑site operations for luxury residential construction projects in Silicon Valley. This opportunity is well suited for a field leader who values quality craftsmanship, clear communication, jobsite organization, and consistent execution from start to finish.

For more than 20 years, Supple Homes has built architect‑led custom residences throughout the Menlo Park area and the greater Silicon Valley market. Our projects typically range from

$4M to $11M

and are known for thoughtful design, strong construction standards, and a high level of client service. We work closely with top design professionals and sophisticated homeowners, and our culture is shaped by three core values:

This role plays a key part in keeping each project on track by managing field operations, coordinating trades, supporting schedule performance, and maintaining a safe, clean, and professional jobsite.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily construction activity from site start through final punch completion

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and on‑site workflow throughout each phase of construction

Maintain schedules, field updates, and daily reporting using BuilderTrend

Enforce safety expectations and follow company standard operating procedures on the jobsite

Verify that work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards

Perform regular site walks and address field challenges before they impact progress

Communicate proactively with Project Managers regarding job progress, schedule changes, delays, and site conditions

Maintain an orderly, clean, and professional work environment on every project

Represent Supple Homes with professionalism and uphold company values in the field

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience as a superintendent on luxury residential projects in the Bay Area

Strong knowledge of field coordination, construction sequencing, and day‑to‑day site supervision

Solid understanding of California building codes, inspections, and residential construction requirements

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and construction documents

Experience with BuilderTrend or similar construction management software used in the field

Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities

Valid California driver’s license and dependable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

$100,000 - $130,000 DOE
