
IT Service Desk Analyst

General Purpose
Do you enjoy helping colleagues solve technical challenges and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? The IT Service Desk Analyst is the first point of contact for all City technology needs, providing friendly, Tier 1 support in person, by phone, email, and through our IT Service Management system. You’ll triage requests, resolve issues, and escalates more complex matters to the IT Technician team, all while delivering outstanding customer service.
In this role, you’ll get hands‑on experience with a wide range of systems, from troubleshooting computers and mobile devices to supporting software, printers, AV equipment, and City‑wide copiers. You’ll also help with equipment inventory, installations, and user training, making a real difference in the day‑to‑day productivity of our organization. Hiring Salary Is Dependent Upon Experience Hiring range is $25.56 – $28.40 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite and current Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Training and experience in maintenance, repair and proper use of personal computers.
Must complete and pass a CJIS background investigation prior to employment, and obtain CJIS certification within 30 days of starting employment.
Equivalencies in education, training and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
