The Construction Estimator plays a critical role in managing the cost and budgeting aspects of large infrastructure projects. Working within a small team, this position involves precise cost estimation, bid preparation, and vendor coordination to ensure project financial efficiency and successful contract execution.
Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for large infrastructure projects * Develop and submit competitive bids * Coordinate with vendors to obtain accurate material pricing * Manage project budgeting and track financial performance * Review contracts to identify cost implications and ensure compliance * Analyze project schedules to align costs and timelines * Communicate with clients regarding project budgets and estimates
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in construction estimating * Associate's degree in Construction Management or related field * Proficiency in blueprint reading * Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
