Private Equity Associate

A growing private equity firm in St. Louis is seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Associate to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, evaluating, and executing private equity investments.

Qualifications:

• 1–4 years of direct experience in private equity, or investment banking, with a focus on industrials or manufacturing deals.
• Relevant ties to St. Louis or the broader Missouri area are required.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial modeling, company valuations, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
• Support deal sourcing initiatives and assist in evaluating new investment prospects across various industries.
• Collaborate with senior team members on transaction structuring, investment memoranda, and presentations for investment committees.
• Monitor portfolio companies, analyze performance metrics, and assist in strategic initiatives to drive growth and operational improvements.
• Participate in ad hoc strategic projects and market research to support business development and investment strategies.
