About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Distribution for the Wealth Channel. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sales efforts to drive asset growth, building and maintaining relationships with advisors, platforms, and key stakeholders, and developing and executing fundraising strategies to expand AUM. This role also involves team development, including the recruitment, management, and development of sales professionals, as well as pipeline management and product positioning. The Head of Distribution will play a key role in establishing a scalable distribution platform and will have the opportunity to build and lead a sales function within the firm.
Applicants for the Head of Distribution position must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field, with 10-20 years' of experience in asset management or wealth management, specifically focusing on fundraising. Industry knowledge is essential, particularly experience covering RIAs, family offices, or intermediary distribution channels. The role requires a candidate with strong technical skills, including familiarity with investment products such as funds, SMAs, and related structures. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, and have a results-driven mindset.
