Overview
The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is looking for a new leader to join the team and support the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Eastside YMCA is seeking a relationship builder to provide leadership to the development and successful operations of the following program areas: membership, health & wellness, aquatics, playhouse, youth-zone and other programs. The Operations Director will be responsible for leading the overall operations at the Eastside YMCA. This leader will drive the member experience by leading staff in programs yielding membership growth and retention. Leading, training, coaching and development of staff and member relations will be critical as we seek to focus on the needs of the East Fort Worth community.
Under the direction of the District Executive Director, the Operations Director will run operations for the newly renovated Eastside Branch. The Operations Director will lead the day-to-day operations, special events, the community campaign portion of the annual campaign, and serve as a liaison to the branch board of directors. A successful Operations Director will have a passion for YMCA operations and a heart for community impact work. This Director will be responsible for maintaining partnerships with the City of Fort Worth, Sid Richardson foundation and for building new relationships and programs that will help support the Eastside operation.

Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations at the Eastside Branch and oversee programs in membership, health & wellness, aquatics, playhouse, youth-zone and other programs.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent years of comparable experience.
Four or more years of program management and supervisory experience preferred.
High energy, positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, attention to detail and initiative.
Ability to direct programs through leading staff and volunteers, developing and monitoring budgets, developing and marketing programs, and fundraising.
Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations.
Ability to connect and relate with diverse groups of people at all levels of the organization.
Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus.
