HR Generalist (Prague or Frankfurt Based)

What we are looking for The EMEA HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies for the DACH region, ensuring alignment with business goals and local requirements. This position is instrumental in fostering cultural awareness and sensitivity, leveraging deep expertise in regional labor laws and employee relations to support a compliant and inclusive workplace. The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting initiatives for succession and workforce planning, proactively addressing generational workforce challenges and securing talent pipelines for long‑term organizational success. This role can be based out of our Prague office or our Frankfurt location.

Your role

Employee Relations (Germany): Serve as a point of contact for German employees regarding workplace concerns, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies. Facilitate communication between employees and management, support resolution of grievances, and promote a positive work environment in compliance with local labor laws. Collaborate with works councils and advise on collective agreements, workplace safety, and employee well‑being.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer management, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for candidates and hiring managers.

Payroll Coordination: Collaborate with the internal payroll team to provide accurate and timely payroll input, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.

HR Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements across HR processes, including HRIS, payroll, compensation, and benefits, in partnership with HQ Centers of Expertise.

Benefits Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of regional benefits, analyze opportunities for harmonization, and propose enhancements to optimize employee value.

HRIS & Data Integrity: Partner with HRIS and relevant teams to streamline processes, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date employee data.

Employee Lifecycle Management: Deliver HR support across all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract administration, and offboarding.

Compliance & Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate processing of HR documentation, including contracts, benefits enrollment, and performance reviews.

E‑learning administration: Assign training curricula for new hires and manage updates, modifications, and related administrative tasks.

Global Collaboration: Work closely with HR colleagues worldwide to maintain consistency in HR practices and policies.

Continuous Improvement: Apply a lean mindset to HR activities, seeking innovative ways to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Your background

Experience with German labor law / employee relations management

Experience with the complete HR agenda (administration, recruitment, payroll, etc.) is an advantage

Strong written and spoken English. Native (minimum fluent) German. French would be a plus.

SuccessFactors experience would be a plus

Strong organizational and communication skills
