Student Employee - KSHU Student Video Editor
Overview The Video Editor is responsible for piecing together raw footage into a finished product. They work with the creative team to ensure that the final video is polished and aligns with the intended vision.
Responsibilities
Upload and sync media to online cloud storage systems.
Maintain organization of editing projects.
Assemble video content for assigned projects, ensuring smooth cuts and transitions.
Sync sound, apply visual effects, and color correct footage.
Create content for social media with appropriate pacing, safety zones, and graphic styles.
Ensure all content meets quality standards and deadlines.
Collaborate with Graphic Designers for motion graphics or thumbnails for the KSHU7 website or YouTube.
Occasionally assist with university live events as Camera Operator or Technical Director.
Qualifications
Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Portfolio showcasing best video editing work.
Availability for occasional night or weekend work.
