The Job at a Glance
As the Packaging Specialist (Internally known as Packing Pro) you will perform an essential function acting as a liaison between our Fulfillment Center teams of Receiving, Put Away , Inventory and Outbound . Our Specialists are responsible for monitoring WIP dashboards, resolving inventory discrepancies on kitting receipts , including missing parts, incorrect quantities, and mixed orders. You will play a key role in determining the best packing method to ensure qua lity , accuracy , safe storage, and delivery of Parts Town product s .

A Typical Day

Work closely with F C internal teams to resolve inventory related discrepancies

Oversee the intake process to ensure items are scanned to appropriate staging locations

Review Quality reporting for damage and communicate trends to leadership teams to review packaging

Monitor WIP dashboards to expedite backorders, research and r esolv e ag ing staged items in Pre-pack/Kitting area

Update and m aintain kitting flags and notes in High J ump PT item master to drive correct routing for future receipts

Assist in training new team members on the various types of packaging methods like foam, auto bag , shrink tunnels, fragile , and crating.

Inventory, organize and Maintain materials needed to perform daily packaging tasks

To Land This Opportunity

You’re looking to work Monday–Friday 7 :00 am–3:30pm and Saturdays when needed

You showcase strong decision - making and problem-solving skills and are a stickler for details and organization

You possess excellent time management and organizational skills

You are flexible to work late hours , Saturdays and overtime as needed

Bonus points if you display intermediate to advanced knowledge of High Jump, Syspro, and Packaging equipment

You are willing to learn how to operate vehicles , and all material handling equipment safely

You have the capacity to move around for long periods of time, lift parts up to 4 0 pounds, and utilize ladders when needed

You show fantastic communication & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written)

The salary range for this role is $43,993.80 – $53,720.20 annually ($21.15 – $25.82 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit‑sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
