Salary Range: $106,800- $162,900 annually (Determined by function, education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant.)
Familiar with construction tools and equipment as well as their uses. Extensive technical knowledge and experience in piping operations; to ensure adequate coordination with all stakeholders for smooth and safe execution. Proficient in Microsoft suite in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Experience managing union craft. Heavy industrial US direct hire construction experience. Extensive working knowledge of construction planning, monitoring and control. Knowledge of the use of subcontracts; knowledge of the contractor/subcontractor's responsibilities contained in subcontract documents. Knowledge and understanding of the application and requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) Handbook and the Bechtel Core Processes as they relate to area of responsibility. Knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations. Knowledge of Bechtel's "Zero Accidents" safety program. Excellent customer relations and communication skills. #LI-NP1
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for the cost, schedule and optimization of craft labor and maintaining the overall construction schedule, the 90 day and four week look ahead schedules for labor and equipment
Inspect site for unsafe conditions and practices and take appropriate action to correct deficiencies.
Coordinate safety training in conjunction with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor.
Champion the cause of ZERO Accident Philosophy. Ensure that Bechtel and local
ational safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with within assigned area of responsibility.
Monitor the activities of craft to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations for craft recruitment and training programs.
Review craft time records using established automated tools.
Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
