Salary Range: 105.000 - 160.200 annually (salary range is based on market data; final salary offered is determined by education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant.)
Job Summary
In this role, you will lead a team and supervise civil superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets. #LI-NP1 Major Responsibilities
Familiar with construction tools and equipment as well as their uses. Extensive technical knowledge and experience in civil and concrete operations; to ensure adequate coordination with batch plant and other stakeholders for smooth and safe execution of concrete activities at site. Input into Microsoft suite in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications Develop construction plans, then monitor and control the work as planned. Manage subcontractors to assure that they comply with the subcontract drawings and specifications. Ensure that requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) Handbook and the Bechtel Core Processes are being adhered to. Ensure that safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations are being adhered to. Support and enforce Bechtel's \"Zero Accidents\" safety program. Maintain positive customer relations skills. Education and Experience Requirements
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills
Familiar with construction tools and equipment as well as their uses. Extensive technical knowledge and experience in civil and concrete operations; to ensure adequate coordination with batch plant and other stakeholders for smooth and safe execution of concrete activities at site. Proficient in Microsoft suite in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications Experience managing union craft. Heavy industrial US direct hire construction experience. Extensive working knowledge of construction planning, monitoring and control. Knowledge of the use of subcontracts; knowledge of the contractor/subcontractor's responsibilities contained in subcontract documents. Knowledge and understanding of the application and requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) Handbook and the Bechtel Core Processes as they relate to area of responsibility. Knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations. Knowledge of Bechtel's \"Zero Accidents\" safety program. Excellent customer relations and communication skills. Benefits
