Position Overview
Innoruptiv is seeking a Creative Lead Designer to oversee and execute the visual direction of marketing efforts for a key client within our theatre and live entertainment portfolio. This role will lead creative development from concept through execution, ensuring cohesive and compelling brand storytelling across all platforms.

This is a flexible, part-time contractor role ideal for a designer with strong creative instincts who is looking to take ownership of projects while collaborating closely with a nimble, strategy-driven team.

Key Responsibilities
Creative Direction & Strategy

Lead the creative vision, execution and rollout of creative concepts across campaigns, ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms

Collaborate with designers in the development of key art

Translate creative direction into brand identities and visual guidelines for productions

Ideate key art and campaign concepts for shows, seasons, and marketing initiatives

Partner with account and strategy teams to align creative with campaign goals

Design & Asset Production

Design print collateral including posters, playbills, postcards, flyers, and direct mail

Create digital assets for email marketing, paid media, and web use

Potential to support development of some social media graphics for both organic and paid campaigns

Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs and touchpoints

Web & Digital

Update and maintain client websites using Squarespace

Ensure visual consistency and strong user experience across digital platforms

(Preferred) Design and build new Squarespace websites for productions and campaigns

Qualifications

1–5 years of experience in graphic design, with at least some experience leading projects or creative direction

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communication, Advertising, Marketing or relevant field preferred

Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

Working knowledge of Squarespace (site updates and page management required)

Strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital design work in a marketing or agency setting

Understanding of brand development and visual storytelling

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in theatre, performing arts, or live entertainment marketing

Experience designing and building Squarespace websites from the ground up

Basic video editing or motion design experience
