Business Development Representative (BDR)
Overview
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive pipeline growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This role is key in generating high-quality leads and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and prospect new business opportunities through outbound (calls, emails, LinkedIn) and inbound lead follow-up.
Conduct initial qualification calls to assess customer needs, budget, and decision-making process.
Generate and nurture qualified leads (MQLs → SQLs) for the sales team.
Schedule meetings and product demos for Account Executives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to align on campaigns and target accounts .
Execute account-based outreach strategies (ABM) .
Track and report on activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, conversion rates).
Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and value propositions .
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
1–3+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development (B2B preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment .
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SaaS, IT, or consulting industries .
Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, SPIN, Challenger).
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools.
Exposure to account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
