Role
The Head – Finance & Accounts will lead all financial management activities for the establishment of the company’s new manufacturing plant in the USA. The role is accountable for financial planning, budgeting, fund management, compliance, internal controls, risk management, and stakeholder reporting to ensure financial stability and strategic alignment throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.

- Financial Planning & Reporting – Lead forecasting, cash flow management, P&L and balance sheet oversight; provide timely financial insights to senior leadership.
- Budgeting & Cost Control – Develop detailed project and annual budgets (land, equipment, labor, overheads, contingencies); monitor costs, conduct variance analysis, and ensure disciplined financial control.
- Compliance & Audit Management – Ensure adherence to U.S. financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements; support internal and external audits and government reporting.
- Risk Management – Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Policy & Internal Controls – Establish robust financial systems, policies, and governance frameworks to ensure transparency and efficiency.
- Banking & Working Capital Management – Manage cash flow, banking relationships, receivables, payables, and inventory to optimize working capital.
- Billing, Payments & Contract Oversight – Oversee invoicing, supplier payments, vendor/contract compliance, and insurance coverage.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Communicate financial performance, risks, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Post-Implementation Review – Conduct financial audits and profitability assessments after project completion to drive continuous improvement.
Competency Profile
Knowledge
- 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Strong expertise in manufacturing cost accounting and U.S. regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience leading finance teams and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
