Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities on the jobsite
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to keep work moving smoothly
- Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and schedule
- Maintain jobsite safety, enforce safety policies, and address hazards
- Communicate progress and problems to project managers and leadership
- Manage site logistics, including access, staging, and cleanliness
- Participate in inspections and punch lists, ensuring timely closeout
- Represent the company on‑site with owners, architects, and inspectors
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, 5+ years on the field
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Problem‑solving ability and decision‑making skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and tasks simultaneously
