Job Title: Estimator – Structural and Miscellaneous Steel
Travel: 10%
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $90k-$140k
Responsibilities
Prepared detailed material takeoffs for new projects, including joists, metal decking, and grating; stairs and railings; and other miscellaneous steel.
Prepare complete estimates including material quantities, labor hours, erection costs, logistics, etc.
Coordinate with Project Managers and Fabricators for project handoffs.
Communicate/coordinate with clients to service their needs during preconstruction processes.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience estimating.
5+ years of experience in Steel Construction.
Strong understanding of AISC Codes, fabrication processes, erection sequences, standard construction practices, and Architectural/Structural Drawing Sets.
Strong understanding/capability to adapt to current market and vendor pricing data.
Proficiency in the following programs:
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to service and assist new and existing clients.
Ability to travel to new potential jobsite locations within our range of work (NY, NJ, CT, PA).
Client List not required but highly desirable.
