Job Summary
The Junior Interaction Designer designs simple, human-centered experiences across mobile, web, desktop applications, print communications, and other emerging technology platforms. This position supports the development of engaging digital and visual communication solutions, including interactive media, motion graphics, print materials, and emerging technology initiatives. The role may also contribute to projects involving 3D design, visual storytelling, and immersive or interactive experiences, including the creation of visual assets and prototypes using tools such as Cinema 4D or similar 3D software. Through collaboration with senior creative staff, the Junior Interaction Designer enhances user engagement and brand storytelling.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing design solutions for mobile, web, desktop, print, and other emerging platforms.
Assist in the design and development of projects that leverage emerging technologies, interactive media, and innovative communication approaches.
Help create user requirement specifications, personas, use cases, workflow diagrams, wireframes, storyboards, and design prototypes.
Communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, technical concepts, and detailed design solutions with clarity and coherence.
Prototype low- and high-fidelity concepts, from paper-based sketches and wireframes to interactive digital experiences.
Support the creation of visual assets for motion graphics, digital storytelling, and 3D media using tools such as Cinema 4D or similar software.
Assist in the design and production of print materials such as posters, brochures, flyers, event signage, and marketing collateral, including preparing vendor-ready files with appropriate layout, typography, and color management.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in interaction design or user interface design.
Desired Qualifications
Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, or interactive concepts for digital platforms.
Experience designing marketing or communication materials for print.
Familiarity with 3D design workflows including modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and asset optimization.
Experience using Cinema 4D within a motion graphics or interactive media pipeline.
Experience with GPU-based rendering tools such as Octane Renderer for creating high-quality visualizations, motion graphics, or 3D assets.
Basic understanding of preparing 3D assets for animation, web, AR/VR, or real-time environments.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
Knowledge of typography, layout, color systems, and print production processes.
Salary $55,000 - $60,000
Work Schedule Begin time: 8:30 AM End time: 5:00 PM
