The brand that invented the modern synthetic lacrosse stick is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support marketing efforts in the Women’s Lacrosse category. The Women’s Lacrosse Marketing Coordinator would support a variety of marketing activities included but not limited to social media, email, ecommerce, product releases, seeding, influencer and athlete relationship management, and team and organization partnerships.
This position is a vital role within STX that works across a wide range of strategic priorities and programs. An effective and attractive candidate for this role must be passionate about the sport of lacrosse, and outstanding in their organization, time management, communication, and multi-tasking abilities. The Lacrosse Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for working with internal and external partners (athletes, teams, retailers, and more) to retain the longstanding leadership position that STX holds in the lacrosse industry.
Responsibilities
Manage sports marketing relationships to elevate the STX brand through association with elite-level athletes, teams, and organizations
Establish sponsorship and NIL relationships with athletes, teams, partners, and organizations domestically and internationally
Identify, coordinate, and execute against event marketing opportunities at tournaments, camps, showcases, and conventions to connect with lacrosse players and teams face-to-face, occasionally requiring travel and working on weekends
Demonstrate new products in public presentations to players and teams, effectively showcasing the capabilities and technologies of STX lacrosse products
Collaborate with internal and external content creators to develop social media content for Instagram and TikTok, and seek ways to connect with lacrosse players and influencers through digital media
Partner with creative agency to develop graphics, video content, packaging, event collateral, and other materials to support STX’s position as the leading brand in the sport of Lacrosse
Support go-to-market for new and existing products at retail and online by generating online marketing materials, emails, and in-store displays to highlight the STX lacrosse product assortment
Cultivate existing relationships and establish new relationships to generate sales opportunities with teams (colleges, universities, etc) and organizations
Assist product team in research, development, testing, and distribution of new products and prototypes, gathering feedback from players and the marketplace

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
1-3 years of experience in marketing
On-Site presence in Baltimore, Maryland headquarters
Comprehensive understanding of social media and the digital communication landscape
Established knowledge of and relationships within the sport of lacrosse
Willingness to travel extensively (30% of the time), both domestically and internationally, as well as work irregular hours as required for business needs
