Sales Coordinator

Position: Sales Coordinator (Inside Sales / Project Coordination Hybrid)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 + full benefits

Overview:

We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to support inside sales efforts while also playing a key role in project coordination. This is a hybrid position ideal for someone coming from a competing manufacturing or machine tool environment who understands the pace, technical nature, and customer expectations of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Support inside sales team with quoting, order processing, and customer communication
Coordinate projects from order through delivery, ensuring timelines and expectations are met
Act as a liaison between sales, engineering, operations, and customers
Maintain and manage spreadsheets for tracking orders, timelines, and project status
Assist with proposals, documentation, and follow-ups
Provide high-level customer service and communication throughout the sales cycle
Ideal Background:

Experience in manufacturing, ideally within CNC, machine tools, or a competing distributor
Prior experience in inside sales, sales support, or project coordination
Strong communication skills both internally and client-facing
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Excel / spreadsheets
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
