SEO Specialist – Full-Time (Direct Hire) – Tampa, FL
We are partnering with a Tampa-based digital ad agency seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to execute advanced strategies across local and national client accounts. This newly created position works with an industry veteran and firm founder, offering flexibility on schedule based on projects and a growth opportunity for the right individual.
You will develop marketing plans for clients and have ownership of all aspects of SEO, including campaigns, click-throughs, analytics, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Execute technical and Local SEO strategies
Optimize Google Business Profile and manage citations
Perform technical SEO audits (Core Web Vitals, indexing, crawl issues)
Implement structured data/schema
Support link-building initiatives
Partner with content teams on SEO strategy
Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns, including PPC
Build performance dashboards in Looker Studio
Manage multiple client accounts
Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience (ad agency experience preferred)
Google Ads Certification
Strong technical SEO skills
Deep Local SEO and Google Business Profile expertise
Experience managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge
WordPress required; Shopify/Webflow a plus
Experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog
Google Tag Manager (GTM) experience preferred
Experience providing SEO strategies for healthcare companies is a plus
Must currently reside in the Tampa area to attend occasional on‑site meetings
