Our rapidly growing wholesale houseware client, is seeking a creative junior to senior level packaging graphic designer to join their dynamic team!

Responsibilities

• Create innovative packaging concepts & product graphics from ideation to execution
• Develop detailed and innovative dyelines for packaging composition
• Ensure smooth and accurate process through production
• Work with vendors on design specifications
• Problem solve and create efficiency for any production challenges
• Expert knowledge in print materials and techniques for optimal execution
• Keep abreast with industry trends, emerging innovations and compliance to push design

Qualifications

• Experience with a design team or agency
• Experience as a Packaging Designer, with a strong portfolio or work examples
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Solid understanding of packaging design, printing, materials, and structure
• Knowledge of printing materials and techniques, including sustainability efforts
• Impeccable branding and logo design skills
• Expert hand skills and an able to create mockup packaging for client presentation
• Detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced everchanging environment
• Retouching capabilities for packaging assets as needed
• Able to manage multi-task, have a sense of urgency and communicate concisely
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams
