The Role
Do you love helping people make smarter choices and understand what affects their money? Fidelity Investments is looking for an experienced Content Production Senior Editor to help create and manage financial content in newsletters and on the Fidelity site.
This role is part of the Content team, a group of writers, editors, publishers, and strategists who produce personal finance content designed to attract audiences to Fidelity. Our team lives within the marketing department for Fidelity Investments' Personal Investing Division, which focuses on serving individual investors with a broad range of products and services. We have a passion for putting clients first, and creating content that is simple, human, and engaging. We have multiple newsletters segmented for different ages and affluence. Our newsletters cover the basics (answering Qs like “what is investing?” and “what's an HSA?”); to the more in-depth economic outlooks and market stories.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in editorial and online publishing work.
Familiarity with multiple content formats, such as long-form articles, videos, short-form social posts, infographics, newsletters, and events.
Ability to manage website and newsletter content quickly—and pivot quickly to different projects and last‑minute deadlines; ability to prioritize content with varying deadlines.
Comfort with tech—we use a variety of different platforms to get the job done.
Capable of making progress in environments where there are strict guardrails (such as legal, compliance, and/or brand).
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
Proven understanding of newsletter design, development processes, strategies, delivery, and evaluation methods.
Experience in the financial services industry preferred, including comfort and familiarity with investing and planning concepts.
Eagerness to collaborate with teammates and business partners to deliver outstanding content to diverse audiences.
