Distribution Associate: Freeport, Illinois
Our customer in Freeport, Illinois is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Distribution Associate to work full-time on 1st shift. In this role, you will support distribution and warehouse operations by preparing, organizing, and moving materials safely and efficiently to meet production and shipping goals. Responsibilities of the Distribution Associate:
Prepare, organize, and move materials to stock locations or for shipment in a safe and efficient manner. Operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility (approximately 50% of the shift). Load, unload, and stage materials to support distribution and production needs. Maintain accuracy when handling materials and preparing shipments. Support general warehouse operations, including limited computer and desk work as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times. Follow all safety procedures and work instructions. Distribution Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year of forklift experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for the majority of the shift. Basic computer skills for limited system or desk work. Steel-toed boots required upon start. Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance. Pay for Distribution Associate:
$18.50/hour. Distribution Associate Benefits:
