
Director, Global Planning and S&OP PTx

The Director, Global Planning and S&OP, PTx is responsible for enterprise-wide demand management, S&OP governance, and integrated supply chain planning strategy supporting approximately 21 million units of annual production across five global manufacturing sites and an extended contract manufacturing network. This role leads the end-to-end planning framework (from demand forecasting and scenario modeling through supply balancing and executive S&OP alignment) to ensure service excellence, inventory optimization, and margin protection. As the architect of global planning processes, the role integrates commercial demand, manufacturing capacity, and procurement strategy into a unified planning model that drives resilience, scalability, and financial performance.
Responsibilities
Own global demand planning process, including statistical forecasting, commercial consensus alignment, and forecast accuracy governance across all product lines and regions.
Lead monthly executive S&OP process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, inventory, and financial targets.
Develop scenario planning capabilities to evaluate supply constraints, capacity shifts, demand volatility, and geopolitical risk impacts.
Establish global inventory strategy balancing service levels with working capital optimization (DOH, turns, safety stock policies).
Coordinate global capacity planning across internal production sites and contract manufacturing partners.
Lead planning system roadmap including advanced planning tools, AI forecasting capabilities, and IBP maturity evolution.
Partner with Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality to ensure a fully integrated planning model.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree preferred
Advanced skills in materials planning, production planning, S&OP, supplier collaboration, E2E value chain management knowledge, scenario planning, data analysis, root cause analysis, and exception management and resolution
Strong knowledge of MRP, ERP systems, and forecasting as well as production planning tools
Established skills in long term demand/supply planning, data analysis, management reporting
Established skills in customer focus, interpersonal skills, teamwork & collaboration, plans & align, plans & align, business acumen, financial acumen
Deep knowledge of materials management, SAP MM module, and production planning, SAP APO module
Deep knowledge in SAP SNC, preferred
Profound knowledge in supply planning & collaboration tools (e.g. Kinaxis), preferred
