The Hudson School District is seeking a
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center Director
at the Wilbur H. Palmer Career & Technical Education Center at Alvirne High School. This is a full‑time, year‑round position.
The CTE Director will work under the direction of the Principal, following the state framework for Career and Technical Education and operating within federal and state guidelines, is responsible for the overall management of the career and adult continuing educational programs for the Hudson School District; providing leadership and vision in its development and improvement, ensuring continued standards of excellence and greatest academic student achievement for future success.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and supervise CTE staff.
Collaborate with postsecondary institutions to secure articulation agreements for all career and technical education programs offered at Alvirne High School.
Coordinate Alvirne High School's Career/Technical programs. Work in partnership with postsecondary institutions to integrate the CTE with the business community.
Prepare and review budget related to CTE programs and submit to the Principal and the Superintendent. Maintain records essential to the department for budgeting. Prepare the necessary requisitions to purchase supplies and equipment for the career and adult educational programs.
Write the Perkins grant application for the Hudson School District.
Qualifications
Master's degree in education, Administration or equivalent.
Five years of experience in teaching and/or administration, supervision, program development or equivalent experience.
Certification from the NHDOE as CTE Principal.
Compensation and Benefits CTE Director salary range is $91,384 to $108,000 in accordance with the AFSCME collective bargaining agreement located on Hudson School District website.
