
Senior Trusts & Estates Paralegal

LHH is seeking a Senior Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support its sophisticated Trusts & Estates practice for a respected mid‑size business law firm. This role works closely with attorneys on high‑net‑worth estate planning, probate, trust administration, and estate tax matters. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and experienced managing complex matters with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related documents
Prepare asset schedules, trust funding documentation, and planning materials
Assist with document revisions, proofreading, and finalization
Coordinate execution of estate planning documents and ensure proper formalities
Maintain organized and confidential client files
Estate & Trust Administration
Prepare Florida probate pleadings and court filings
Assist with the administration of estates and trusts
Coordinate with financial institutions, beneficiaries, and advisors
Assist with fiduciary accountings
Track deadlines and ensure timely filings
Tax & Compliance Support
Assist with Form 706 (estate tax), Form 709 (gift tax), and fiduciary income tax matters
Track tax deadlines and gather supporting documentation
Coordinate with CPAs and financial advisors
Maintain tax‑related records and apply knowledge of estate and gift tax concepts
Qualifications
7+ years of Trusts & Estates paralegal experience (10+ years preferred for senior‑level candidates)
Strong knowledge of Florida probate and trust administration
Experience with estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax matters (Forms 706 & 709)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estate planning/tax software (e.g., Gillett) preferred
Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred
