We are seeking a highly creative and collaborative

Marketing Coordinator

to join the internal MarCom agency at our growing, Grand Rapids–based company. The ideal candidate will bring experience in

content and social marketing, e‑commerce marketing, digital merchandising, and MarCom project management . In this role, you will collaborate on compelling copy and visual assets that drive engagement and conversion across multiple channels—managing our digital presence through social networks, email marketing, e‑commerce platforms, directory listings, reviews and ratings, and other interactive touchpoints. You will also coordinate cross‑functional projects to support traffic growth, on‑site engagement, and sales performance, ensuring successful outcomes for all brands.

Content Management & Social Media

Manage all Baudville Brands social media channels to ensure the thoughtful and timely creation of on-brand content for Baudville, RecogNation, and Delightly, interacting on behalf of the same as needed

Propose and report on content efforts in the spirit of continuous improvement

Create and execute approved monthly social media calendar to increase followers and engagement

Responsible for working with peers to write and publish content throughout all social channels

Make recommendations for annual social media budget, manage and report on promoted social posts and in-platform advertising

Collaborate with vendors and teammates on all visual, multimedia, and interactive content

Manage blog calendar and assist in concept, creation, deployment, and measurement of content performance

Collaborate on administration and execution of our Employee Advocacy Program

Email Marketing

Collaborate on email campaigns and related landing pages that promote products, services, content, and critical outbound communications to subscribers and customers

Respond to and follow-up on requests for email creative and copy in a timely manner

Manage segmented lists and campaigns based on email strategy, including maintenance of non-deliverable email addresses and opt-outs

Create and modify email templates as needed including those with dynamic plugins

Ensure messages are sent in proper form and are viewable and friendly in all email clients, devices, and viewing modes

Assist with personalization strategy including recommending new campaigns, follow-up and lead generation strategies

Provide results reporting in pursuit of increased performance, recommending improvements, enhancements, and testing strategies for current and future campaigns

Digital Presence

Manage listings and content for all brands on directories and ratings platforms

Ensure up-to-date information and representation of our brands in all online profiles, conducting regular quality control to ensure brand standard compliance on all existing and new placements

Collaborate with peers to drive interest and participation on related platforms from all employees

Actively communicate to internal stakeholders about notable online interactions and opportunities

Strong writing skills with the ability to accurately assess time and resources, and meet short deadlines when needed

Possess an analytical approach to decision‑making with outstanding attention to detail

A natural balance of the creative execution with business needs

Prior experience with B2B brands and marketing as well as B2C

Familiarity with e‑commerce marketplaces and platforms (Shopify preferred)

Familiarity with a SaaS product/service business model

Proven ability to transfer research and education into compelling stories and captivating content

Demonstrated ability to generate content ideas through short‑form interviews with Subject Matter Experts

Ability to translate brand promise, USPs’, data points, features, etc. into effective content

Experience with omnichannel marketing, including digital advertising, email, and content marketing

Prior experience with Social Media management platforms such as Sprout, Oktopost, and Hootsuite

Familiarity with project management tools and CRM platforms (Wrike and NetSuite preferred)

Experience with email marketing tools (such as MailChimp, Klaviyo, and Constant Contact)

Ability to multi‑task and maintain organization in a very fast‑paced environment

Key Measures of Success

Drive weekly and monthly social media engagement and audience growth

Promote and support Employee Advocacy program participation, targeting 80% or better internal engagement

Support Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) increases via social with both qualitative and quantitative evaluations reported monthly

Monitoring of MarCom projects with weekly reporting in Team Huddles of workload vs capacity, targeting average of 70-90%

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Media, or Advertising (Associate’s degree or other Majors may be considered with commensurate work experience and/or certificates)

1-3 years of experience in digital marketing and/or social media

Experience in working with digital‑first partners/vendors

Excellent understanding of web technologies and concepts (html, css, search engines, landing pages, optimization via A/B and multivariate testing, tools, and trends)

Currency on digital marketing trends—sharing discoveries and insights with team members

Strong understanding of influence upon B2B/B2C purchase processes in the digital space via videos, interactive demos, free downloads, etc.

Strong understanding of Social Media tools and techniques, tracking the daily “state of play” regarding legal/regulatory impacts on platforms

Experience with setting goals and measurement for digital activities

Excellent verbal, written and listening skills, be able to interact with various people at all levels of the organization and external contacts, communicate clearly and concisely; graciously deal with all types of customers, exhibit strong listening skills, and work harmoniously and effectively with others

Self‑starter personality with a mutuality mindset and a highly developed ability to receive and give feedback as well as to set priorities
