Job Title: Interior Designer
We are seeking an Interior Designer to join our New York studio. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality documentation and coordination efforts, showcasing strong Revit skills and a solid understanding of construction documentation, particularly within the context of New York City codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
Support the design and technical development of architectural projects from design development through construction documentation.
Produce accurate and coordinated Revit drawing sets in accordance with company standards.
Assist with technical detailing, constructability, and code compliance reviews, with NYC experience strongly preferred.
Coordinate drawings with internal team members and external consultants.
Participate in QA/QC processes and self‑check work for accuracy and completeness.
Contribute to team discussions related to design solutions, technical challenges, and documentation strategy.
Maintain digital file standards and documentation protocols.
Essential Skills
Professional degree in Interior Design required.
3+ years of professional experience.
Experience within hospitality projects.
Ability to work collaboratively within multi‑disciplinary project teams.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Work Environment
The role is based in our New York City studio, offering a collaborative, team‑based environment.
We operate a hybrid work model, starting with full‑time in‑office work for the first 90 days, transitioning to a 3/2 hybrid schedule.
Employees will have opportunities to work closely with experienced architects, project managers, and studio leadership, in a culture emphasizing collaboration, mentorship, and long‑term growth.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jersey City, NJ.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
