Intern Opportunity

The Intern supports IDEA's mission by contributing to day-to-day team operations, project execution, and administrative priorities while developing foundational professional skills in a collaborative work environment. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Texas with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate. Travel to IDEA training events or step-back may be required. Essential Duties: Support assigned team with daily operational, administrative, and project-related tasks. Assist with organizing, tracking, and maintaining information relevant to team priorities. Prepare summaries, reports, presentations, or materials to support team initiatives. Support special projects and follow-up activities as assigned. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Support several key marketing initiatives including, but not limited to: Backpacks for Bright Futures Project, Launch Into Learning Campaign, IDEA Campus Directory Update, BOG Box Support, Community Partnerships Project. Intern will collaborate with Marketing Managers and Director to align on project vision, scope, and sequence. Intern will research and contribute ideas to each project plan. Interns will work across various internal departments to ensure the execution of all next-steps from the project plan(s). Interns will assist in creating tasks and requests in our project management software (Wrike), and tracking the timely delivery of each. Interns will assist in weekly tracking / reporting of each project's status and percent completion. Interns will assist with student and staff recruitment and enrollment efforts as needed. Interns to support with kitting BOG Box materials as needed.
