
Senior Director - Sector Lead

About the Role
As a CBRE Senior Director - Sector Lead, you will lead consulting services to several high‑profile corporate real‑estate client groups, support the growth and delivery of advisory services in Workplace and Portfolio Strategy, Occupancy Planning, and Change Management, and guide the consulting business in multiple geographic regions.
What You’ll Do
- Build real estate strategies and consulting teams for large‑size clients.
- Deliver strategies with assigned clients, developing solutions to assist with regional portfolio strategic initiatives.
- Align business direction and vision with senior management.
- Act as the conduit between the CBRE consulting platform and account teams to ensure alignment between services and contract obligations.
- Supervise organizational performance and report on collected data.
- Lead the annual account resource and workplace technology budget, provide administrative mentorship, and feedback on account financial health.
- Develop complex strategies to reduce costs for clients in resources, workplace technology, and programs/processes.
- Gain an in‑depth understanding of the client’s business, ensuring that resources and programs align with the business’s strategic direction.
- Supply expert commercial and financial knowledge during business strategy development and presentations.
- Provide formal supervision to employees, supervise staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and coordinate recruiting and hiring of new staff.
- Apply robust knowledge across multiple subject areas and key drivers that impact departmental and cross‑functional performance.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, persuading managers and colleagues to take action guided by functional business plans and negotiating with external partners, vendors, and customers to reach common goals.
- Identify and tackle complex, sophisticated, operational, and organizational problems using the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
- Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job subject area.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 8–12 years of relevant experience (education and experience may be considered together).
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance measurement, appraisal, and retention.
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
- In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Benefits
Minimum compensation: $150,000 per year. Maximum compensation: $200,000 per year. Benefits include 401(K), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and vision insurance.
