About the Organization
The mission of the West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is to "Serve West Point and the Long Gray Line". WPAOG is both the alumni association and foundation for the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, ensuring the Long Gray Line remains the most highly connected alumni body in the world.
Position Summary
In partnership with the Army West Point Athletic Association, Inc. (AWPAA), WPAOG seeks an Associate Director of Major Gifts to grow the athletic philanthropic efforts at USMA. This position cultivates, solicits, and stewards mid to high‑level annual fund and sport‑specific gifts, and reports to the Assistant Athletic Director, Major & Sport Specific Giving.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics development/fundraising are required. The incumbent must have excellent relationship‑building, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. A master’s degree is preferred.
Compensation
Pay Range: $67,600–$70,000 (depending on experience and skills).
