JOB TITLE: Director - DB
Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. seeks a Director in New York, NY to manage the regional book of work for the Bank's Navigator platform, coordinating with regional business management and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage the regional book of work for the Navigator platform, coordinating with regional business management and senior leadership.
- Evaluate and oversee the implementation of supervisory frameworks in compliance with financial regulations issued by the Federal Reserve, SEC, FINRA, Basel/BASEL, Dodd-Frank, and Volcker rules.
- Design, implement, and monitor operational and regulatory controls to mitigate risk across sales and trading functions.
- Test supervisory models, policies, and frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participate in control governance forums and regulatory committees; lead large-scale regulatory and risk initiatives.
- Analyze and monitor risk for global securities trading businesses across products including listed derivatives, futures and options, OTC derivatives (including swaps, options, structured products), equities, credit, rates, FX, government and corporate bonds, exchange-traded funds, structured notes, prime brokerage, stock loans, and derivative clearing.
- Monitor strategic risk and control projects including Cancel and Corrects, Trader Mandate, Internal Counterparty, and operational risk measurement metrics.
- Review electronic and algorithmic trading activities to identify market manipulation, front running, wash sales, layering, spoofing, price checks, notional and order checks.
- Build key risk indicators, key control indicators, risk registers, and control inventories to perform internal risk and control assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience evaluating and overseeing the implementation of supervisory frameworks in compliance with financial regulations.
- Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring regulatory controls across trading functions and related risk areas.
- Experience testing supervisory models and participating in governance forums and regulatory committees.
- Ability to analyze and monitor risk across global securities trading products and markets.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range: $309,000.00 - $340,000.00 per year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
