Product Marketing Manager, Stripe Billing

Stripe, San Francisco, CA, United States

Who we are Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About The Team Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe’s product strategy, and lead go-to-market for our suite of products. Product Marketing is a highly cross‑functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation and Campaigns to name a few. We work across the entire product lifecycle—from shaping the product to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post‑launch. We also drive both self‑serve and sales‑sold marketing efforts.
We are looking for an experienced product marketer to help drive the marketing strategy and execution for one of our fastest‑growing products, Stripe Billing. As PMM for Stripe Billing, you will support our go‑to‑market strategy, own product‑level messaging and positioning, and manage product growth initiatives in partnership with Product Growth. You will enable our sales teams on Stripe Billing functionality and how to position it to target segments, engaging teams across product growth, sales, campaigns, and demand generation to drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue.
What you’ll do Develop messaging and positioning for Stripe Billing, and create campaign‑level content and sales enablement assets.
Work closely with product, partnerships, and partner marketing (demand generation) teams to build a marketing strategy that drives awareness, demand, and usage of Stripe Billing.
Enable sales teams to understand the value of Stripe Billing and competitive solutions.
Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Be a storyteller with deep empathy for users. Adapt your communication to reach and engage different audiences and differentiate Stripe. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Lead with data. You enjoy working with data and insights and pair that with your passion for users to generate balanced, thoughtful points of view for how to take our products to market.
Keep things organized. You manage highly interdependent, complex projects and keep multiple workstreams on track.
Have a passion for technology. You are keen to learn how things work and can explain technical concepts in ways that everyday people can understand.
Be ambitious. You are eager to make an impact at Stripe, thrive in a fast‑moving, dynamic, hyper‑growth environment, and can move fluidly between 30,000‑foot strategy and micro‑detail.
Act as a team player. Product Marketers collaborate across the Marketing team and with virtually every team at Stripe. You work with a range of disciplines to execute on your work.
Minimum Requirements 5‑8 years of product marketing experience, preferably in B2B settings.
Deep understanding of B2B SaaS or Product Growth strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience translating technical features into benefits for a technical audience.
Ability to leverage data to proactively identify opportunities and drive impactful results.
Hybrid work at Stripe The role is available in an office or remotely (35+ miles / 56+ km from a Stripe office). Office‑assigned employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the local office or with users, balancing collaboration with flexibility. Remote employees work primarily from home, with occasional visits to the office for meetings and events. Stripe does not cover relocation costs for remote positions.
Pay and benefits The annual US base salary range for this role is $143,300–$214,900. For sales roles, that range refers to On‑Target Earnings (OTE). The range may vary by career level and will be narrowed during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants outside the US may request the local range during the interview.
Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
