About the Team
Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe’s product strategy, and lead go‑to‑market for our suite of products. It is a highly cross‑functional role, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation, and Campaigns. We work across the entire product lifecycle—from shaping the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post‑launch.

What You’ll Do

Be a storyteller • Deep empathy for users and the ability to adapt communication to best reach and engage audiences and differentiate Stripe. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Lead with data • Use data and insights to generate balanced, thoughtful points of view for how to take our products to market.

Keep things organized • Manage highly interdependent, complex projects and keep various work streams on track.

Have a passion for technology • Learn how things work and explain technical concepts in ways that everyday people can understand.

Be ambitious • Make an impact at Stripe in a fast‑moving, dynamic, hyper‑growth environment and operate fluidly between strategic and detailed levels.

Act as a team player • Collaborate across the Marketing team and with every team at Stripe to execute on work.

Responsibilities

Develop messaging and positioning for Stripe products or user segments and produce campaign‑level content as well as sales enablement assets.

Work closely with product, partnerships, and partner marketing (demand generation) teams to build a marketing strategy that drives awareness, demand, and usage of our products.

Enable sales teams to understand the value of our products and competitive solutions.

Minimum Requirements

7+ years prior product marketing experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience translating technical features into benefits for a technical audience.

Ability to leverage data to proactively identify opportunities and drive impactful results.

Location & Work Arrangement
This role is available either in an office or remotely from a location more than 35 miles (56 kilometers) from a Stripe office. Remote employees are expected to work primarily from home, while employees assigned to an office must spend at least 50% of the month in their local office.

Note: Stripe does not cover relocation costs for remote employees.

Pay and Benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $143,300 – $214,900. Benefits for this role may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends. Candidates outside the US may request the salary range for their location during the interview process.
