As our Marketing Coordinator, you’ll support Questex's success by:

As a Marketing Coordinator on the Audience Marketing team, you will support audience acquisition and engagement strategies across Questex’s hospitality portfolio, executing multi‑channel campaigns designed to attract and convert key industry professionals.

What You’ll Do

Support audience acquisition and registration growth for events through email, social media, partnerships, and digital channels

Execute and optimize marketing campaigns in collaboration with marketing and cross‑functional teams

Assist in developing compelling messaging for emails, social media, and website content that resonates with key hospitality audiences

Maintain and update event websites to ensure accurate, engaging, and conversion‑focused content

Manage and grow social media presence across assigned brands; proactively create content to drive engagement and registrations

Create basic marketing assets using tools like Canva to support campaigns across email, social, and web

Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance; use insights to optimize results and improve audience targeting

Support audience segmentation and persona development to better target key attendee groups (e.g., owners, operators, bartenders, hotel leaders)

Collaborate on onsite marketing execution, including signage, activations, and sponsor integrations to enhance the attendee experience

Leverage speaker, sponsor, and partner content to amplify marketing efforts across channels

Stay informed on hospitality industry trends, marketing best practices, and emerging tools (including AI) to continuously improve campaign performance and efficiency

Key Areas of Focus

Email marketing execution and performance optimization

Social media programming and content deployment

Audience‑first messaging and persona‑based marketing

Campaign execution across event and digital products

Cross‑functional collaboration with sales, content, and operations teams

Onsite event support and execution (e.g., The Hospitality Show, Bar & Restaurant Expo, Vibe Conference)

Utilization of modern marketing tools and platforms (e.g., AI tools, Canva) to enhance productivity and creativity

Required Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, management, or related field (preferred but not required)

2+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, event support, or client/customer‑facing roles

Ad agency, events, or media industry experience

Experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or InDesign

Experience with Omeda (email deployment) or similar marketing technologies (e.g., MailChimp, Eloqua, ActiveCampaign)

Experience using generative AI and AI‑powered marketing platforms for ideation, drafting, optimization, and personalization of campaigns

Demonstrated prompt‑writing skills and data‑driven application (email optimization, A/B testing, reporting, segmentation), including responsible AI usage practices such as fact‑checking and bias awareness
