Position Summary
This temporary role supports the Product Lifecycle Manager (PLCM) for a specific Business Unit (BU), helping drive initiatives across the full product lifecycle. The Product Lifecycle Analyst works closely with the PLCM and cross-functional teams to provide data analysis, insights, and operational support that enable informed portfolio, supply chain, and commercialization decisions. This role serves as a key connector between the BU, supply chain, and enterprise teams, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Product Lifecycle Manager in executing portfolio initiatives across the full product lifecycle, from new product introduction through end-of-life Support the lead facilitator for Enterprise Business Planning (EBP) Step 1 for assigned North America Business Units Perform analysis on large, complex data sets and present insights to leadership to support data-driven decisions impacting the end-to-end supply chain Conduct monthly
SLOB (Slow-Moving & Obsolete Inventory)
reviews for finished goods, helping reduce excess and obsolete inventory Support
New Product Introductions (NPI)
and product transitions by partnering with inventory and supply planning teams to generate runout and transition timing analyses Provide key support for
Project Vulcan (manufacturing network design) , including modeling and tracking dual-sourcing strategies Support product
discontinuations
by developing depletion and exit plans for end-of-life SKUs Analyze
customer inventory levels
in partnership with customer service and forecasting teams to assess non-working trade and transition risks Provide data and analysis to support
cost improvement initiatives , including Design-to-Value sessions and Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP) Collaborate across multiple stakeholders including NPD/NPI, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Marketing, Commercial, and Project Management teams Provide ongoing analytical support and insights to help improve BU supply chain metrics and business performance Top Skills & Experience Required
Strong understanding of the
product lifecycle , including lifecycle phases and portfolio management concepts Proven
analytical skills , including the ability to interpret large data sets and deliver actionable insights Excellent
communication and collaboration skills , with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in both virtual and onsite settings Technical Skills & Tools
General understanding of
item setup tools Experience with
SAP OTC
(preferred) Experience with
