About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Higher Education Sales to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving net-new growth in the higher education market, with a focus on building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers such as Provosts, Deans, CIOs, and online leaders. This role involves leading complex, high-value sales cycles from initial contact to contract close, and is well-suited to a self-motivated, executive-level seller with a strong background in prospecting and a proven ability to acquire new business.

Applicants should have 5-10+ years of direct sales experience in the higher education sector, a demonstrated track record of acquiring new clients and meeting sales quotas, and experience in closing complex, high-value deals, preferably over $250K. An established network of senior university decision-makers is essential, as is the ability to navigate long, consultative sales processes with executive stakeholders. The role requires a willingness to travel up to 50% for on-campus meetings and conferences. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-oriented professional with a passion for the education industry and a talent for fostering strong, lasting business relationships.
