Due to the nature of this role, it will be hybrid to the Columbus, OH offices and will manage direct reports.
Work Authorization

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a team of Digital Product Owners and Analysts who execute the solution vision/roadmap and serve as the customer and business proxy to developers and agile delivery teams for digital products and experiences. Ensures the team supports enterprise shared solutions impacting multiple audiences and lines of business.
- Own and maintain capability standard methodologies.
- Oversee a team that defines, prioritizes, and grooms the agile delivery team’s product backlog to ensure continuous delivery, and develop, prioritize, and manage epics and user stories.
- Lead or participate in scrum meetings, grooming meetings, project status meetings, sprint planning and review meetings. Oversee near‑term objectives planning by overlaying the prioritized backlog against fixed time blocks (monthly/quarterly) to manage interdependencies and coordination across development teams.
- Define, monitor and analyze metrics that inform the success of the digital solution(s).
- Evaluate talent and conduct assessments to ensure associates develop and maintain the appropriate level of skills.
- Manage capacity and deploy resources to support Product Managers, Owners, and agile delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of customer‑facing digital solutions.
- Direct associate management, including performance management, salary planning and administration and training.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships
Reports to Vice President, Enterprise Omnichannel Product Management. Manages a team of up to 14 directs and up to 15 indirect reports.
Typical Skills and Experiences
Education: Undergraduate studies in business administration, management, human resources, product management and design, computer sciences or related fields. Advanced degree preferred.
License/Certification/Designation: Property/casualty insurance and/or life/health/accident/variable annuity licensing and/or FINRA 6 and 26 securities registration, CLU, CPCU, CPU, FLMI certifications will be helpful.
Experience: Typically, 10 or more years of demonstrated experience developing and leading associates in a digital product management organization. Experience in digital planning, execution and delivery. Experience with agile delivery methodologies and product management/owner principles.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proven knowledge of end‑to‑end agile practices and product management practices required. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus. Expertise in skills assessments, talent and acquisition practices needed. Command of both verbal and written communication and presentation abilities. Proven ability to lead large teams of associates focused on agile delivery of digital solutions and experiences. Demonstrated ability to retain and acquire talent and assess and develop the skills required for successful execution in a digital product management organization. Strategic problem solver with the ability to tackle key resource and capacity issues, while setting the vision for a successful product management practice. Able to present and interact with all levels of management.
