Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and licensing agreements.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to align commercial legal strategies with business objectives.
- Support compliance initiatives and risk management related to commercial matters.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high‑impact team environment by taking ownership and proactively sharing expertise.
Must‑Have Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state (CA preferred).
- Must have experience at a top law firm with a commercial, technology transactions, or corporate background.
- 5+ years of legal experience in a technology‑focused environment.
- Proven in‑house commercial counsel experience.
- Demonstrated initiative, drive, and strong work ethic in high‑growth, fast‑paced environments.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Background in artificial intelligence or emerging technologies.
- Experience building or scaling legal and business processes in startups or rapidly growing companies.
