Senior Tax Manager

Adecco is partnering with a large global manufacturing organization in the Metro Detroit area to identify a Senior Tax Manager. This role will support the company’s global tax accounting function and play a key role in the preparation and oversight of income tax reporting within a complex multinational environment.

This position offers strong visibility within the finance organization and the opportunity to work closely with leadership, global finance teams, and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740
• Analyze effective tax rates, deferred tax balances, and uncertain tax positions
• Oversee aspects of the global tax accounting process and ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
• Partner with external auditors during financial statement audits and assist with audit support requests
• Provide technical tax accounting guidance related to business initiatives, organizational changes, and complex transactions
• Collaborate with global finance and tax teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting
• Monitor developments in tax law and accounting guidance and assess potential impact to the organization
• Assist in developing and maintaining tax accounting policies, procedures, and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of tax accounting experience within public accounting or a multinational corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP tax accounting
• Experience supporting complex global tax reporting processes
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally
