Position Overview
The firm is seeking a Vice President of Capital Markets to support the continued growth of its platform through the sourcing and execution of equity capital partnerships.
This individual will focus on programmatic joint ventures and deal-by-deal equity capital to support new development and acquisition opportunities across both industrial and multifamily. The role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and the ability to play a key role in scaling a highly active investment platform. This person will have a full support team in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and structure equity capital partnerships for new development and acquisition opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with family offices and select capital partners aligned with joint venture strategies
- Identify and secure programmatic JV equity for industrial and multifamily investments
- Collaborate closely with acquisitions and development teams to align capital with pipeline opportunities
- Evaluate deal structures, return profiles, and partnership terms to optimize capital deployment
- Lead negotiations alongside senior leadership on joint venture agreements and capital structures
- Maintain active coverage of capital markets to track trends, investor appetite, and competitive positioning
- Support execution of transactions through closing, including coordination with legal and internal teams
- Targeting equity capital partners, primarily through joint venture structures
- Not focused on retail or high-net-worth capital
- Selectively engaging with large family offices and strategic partners
- Institutional capital relationships are managed separately through an existing internal function
Qualifications
- 7–12+ years of experience in real estate capital markets, acquisitions, or investment roles
- Experience working across industrial and/or multifamily assets
- Strong understanding of joint venture structures, equity partnerships, and investment underwriting
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage capital relationships
- Experience working within institutional real estate environments preferred
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to evaluate deal structures and returns
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
