Job Description

This role partners closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, and Integration teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce capabilities that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and data integrity across FordPro's global B2B sales channels.

The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce platform expertise with enterprise integration experience and strong DevOps discipline.

Responsibilities

1.

Salesforce Solution Engineering Design, configure, and implement Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions aligned with FordPro commercial sales processes. Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and declarative tools. Build scalable data models supporting fleet customers, multi-account hierarchies, and complex opportunity structures. Optimize Lead, Account, Contact, Opportunity, Quote, and Sales Agreement processes. 2.

Enterprise Integration & Data Architecture

Implement and support integrations between Salesforce and:

Order Management Systems Dealer Management Systems (DMS) ERP platforms Identity & Access Management systems

Utilize APIs (REST/SOAP), Platform Events, CDC, and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft). Ensure consistent and authoritative data flow across FIN, ProID, SCAID, and related systems. Support real-time and batch data synchronization strategies. 3.

DevOps & Environment Management

Follow CI/CD best practices using DevOps or equivalent pipelines. Support Dev, SIT, UAT, and Production deployment strategies. Maintain version control and release governance. Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering standards. 4.

Data Quality & Governance

Implement validation, automation, and monitoring to ensure high data integrity. Support master data management strategies for dealer and fleet accounts. Contribute to governance frameworks around security, role hierarchy, and sharing models. 5.

Performance & Optimization

Diagnose and resolve system performance issues. Optimize automation to avoid recursion, governor limits, and technical debt. Monitor system health, integration reliability, and API limits. 6.

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

Participate in SAFe / Agile ceremonies. Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs. Provide technical documentation including solution diagrams and architecture artifacts. Mentor junior developers and support technical upskilling across the team. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

4+ years Salesforce Sales Cloud engineering experience. Strong proficiency in:

Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Salesforce Flow SOQL/SOSL

Experience with enterprise integrations and middleware (MuleSoft preferred). Strong understanding of:

Salesforce security model Sharing rules and role hierarchies Bulkification best practices

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based deployments. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required). Salesforce Platform Developer II or Sales Cloud Consultant (preferred). Preferred Experience

Experience in automotive, fleet, or dealer network ecosystems. Knowledge of order-to-cash and commercial sales lifecycle. Experience with complex B2B account hierarchies. Exposure to large-scale global Salesforce implementations. Familiarity with Azure cloud infrastructure. Core Competencies

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $115,000-$192,900.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
