Bear Mountain Healthcare West Roxbury, a skilled nursing home in West Roxbury, MA, is currently accepting applications for a full-time, 40 hr/week Maintenance Director.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must have management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home.
Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
Must know how to turn off the main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to the facility.
Must be able to see small details in equipment, machinery, etc.
Must be knowledgeable of the Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and follow policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for budget, accounts payable, department employees, reports, and required documentation.
Responsible for preventive maintenance program and ensures compliance according to local, state and federal regulations.
Maintains all facility equipment in a safe and functioning manner.
Maintains furnishings and grounds, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.
Responsible for fire safety.
Participates in quality improvement and department head meetings.
