JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Vinyl Graphics Installer to support our Prototyping team on a contract basis. This role is responsible for executing high-quality vinyl applications across a wide range of surfaces, including packaging prototypes, branded displays, and specialty objects.
This position requires a high level of craftsmanship, precision, and adaptability. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering clean, seamless installations and is comfortable working beyond traditional vehicle applications on unique and often one-of-a-kind pieces.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply cast and calendared vinyl graphics to a variety of surfaces, including flat, curved, and irregular forms
Execute full wraps, partial wraps, and detailed spot graphics with precision and consistency
Ensure clean seams, proper alignment, and a flawless finish free of bubbles, wrinkles, or lifting
Prepare surfaces appropriately (cleaning, decontamination, priming) to ensure optimal adhesion
Interpret design files and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate visual execution
Handle prototype materials and client assets with care and professionalism
Maintain tools, materials, and workspace in a clean and organized manner
Adapt techniques to accommodate non-traditional applications and experimental surfaces
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in vinyl graphics installation required
Automotive/vehicle wrap experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work with precision and attention to detail
Experience applying graphics to complex or non-standard surfaces is highly valued
Strong spatial awareness and ability to align graphics to contours and registration points
Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a project-based environment
Portfolio or references showcasing previous installation work preferred
ENGAGEMENT DETAILS
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (Freelance)
Work Environment: On-site
Schedule: Project-based; hours will vary based on workload
Duration: Ongoing opportunities for the right candidate
COMPENSATION
$25 – $40 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
