Brief Description
We are looking to add a Junior Media Buyer to our team to support continued growth and expand our marketing capabilities. In this role, the Junior Media Buyer at BigIron will support the execution, optimization, and performance tracking of paid media campaigns designed to drive high-quality bidder traffic and strengthen brand visibility. This position is hands‑on and detail‑oriented, with a focus on campaign setup, daily monitoring, and data‑driven optimization across digital channels. The Junior Media Buyer will play a key role in ensuring campaigns are effectively reaching and engaging target audiences across agricultural, construction, transportation, and collector equipment markets, helping position BigIron as the leading online auction marketplace in the industry.
Essential Functions
Assist in building, launching, and managing paid media campaigns across digital channels (e.g., paid search, display, social).
Support media buying activities by coordinating placements, tracking deliverables, and assisting with vendor communication.
Monitor campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics 4 and platform dashboards; flag trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Make routine adjustments to campaigns (budgets, bids, targeting, creative rotation) under direction to improve performance.
Compile regular performance reports, including key metrics such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and cost‑per‑acquisition.
Partner with internal teams to ensure ads are launched accurately and align with current promotions and auction schedules.
Assist in implementing audience targeting and segmentation strategies based on provided direction.
Work with marketing, content, and operations teams to support campaign execution aligned with business priorities.
Help manage timelines, track campaign deliverables, and maintain organized campaign documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field experience.
0–2 years of experience in digital marketing, media buying, advertising, or related field (internships applicable).
Strong interest in paid digital marketing and advertising.
Analytical mindset and curiosity around data and performance.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable learning new tools, platforms, and systems.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
Background or interest in agriculture, construction, or rural markets strongly preferred.
