About the Role

We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Marketing Technology Associate to lead the execution and optimization of our multi-platform social strategy. This role requires an expert “hands‑on‑keyboard” practitioner who is deeply fluent in the nuances of paid social tactics including creative, optimizations, audiences and bidding. You will be responsible for managing significant media spend across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, and Snapchat. You are not just an executor; you are an analytical strategist who uses real-time data to pivot tactics, improve efficiency, and partner directly with our platform representatives to stay ahead of the curve.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end‑to‑end setup, launch, and management of complex paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
  • Conduct daily performance analysis to adjust bidding strategies, audience targeting, and budget pacing. You will use data to make optimization decisions that will directly impact campaign outcomes.
  • Partner with the marketing & media teams to provide data‑backed insights on platform & ad performance, helping to iterate and inform campaign strategy & deployment.
  • Synthesize complex datasets into high‑level performance reports, providing stakeholders with clear, data‑backed recommendations to inform future media optimizations & investment.
  • Partner with our social platform partners, collaborating on innovative strategies and implementing best‑in‑class optimizations.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of dedicated experience in paid social media buying, with a proven track record of managing budgets and complexity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing 8‑ to 9‑figure annual budgets across multiple platforms and geographies.
  • Expert‑level knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager is required. Proficiency in Reddit, Pinterest, and Snapchat Ads Managers is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, high‑energy approach to work with a natural curiosity for social trends and the evolving privacy/attribution landscape.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and stay within deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel, SQL a plus) with multivariate testing experience.
  • Understanding of ad‑tech, including integration, tracking, both pixel and mobile app.
  • Ability to adapt to quick changes within both the company and industry.

For San Francisco, CA‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$108,000 per year – USD$120,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full‑time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
