Senior Tax Manager

Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join a top 100 CPA firm in Chicago. The ideal candidate will lead complex tax engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and corporations
• Review tax returns, provisions, and other deliverables
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
• Lead and mentor junior staff members
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships
• Contribute to business development efforts

Requirements:

• CPA license
• 8+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 3 years at the manager level
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Advanced proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting
• Experience with international tax issues
