Overview

Workforce Solutions partners directly with leading small to mid-sized CPA firms across the United States to connect them with top talent in the public accounting industry. We are currently working with a well-established CPA firm in Georgetown, Texas seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager . This role is onsite. Relocation assistance may be negotiable. (Not remote.)

Role

Senior Tax Managers provide strategic leadership within the tax practice while overseeing complex engagements and developing people and processes.

  • Providing expert-level guidance on federal and multi-state taxation.
  • Reviewing high-risk and complex engagements.
  • Maintaining quality through detailed review and peer review.
  • Serving as account manager for select clients.
  • Advising clients on business strategies and operations.
  • Evaluating and improving firm policies and workflows.
  • Managing workflow and project assignments.
  • Leading and mentoring tax professionals.
  • Identifying and negotiating additional services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • EA required; CPA preferred.
  • Master's in Taxation a plus.
  • 10+ years public accounting tax experience.
  • Expert-level federal and multi-state tax knowledge.
  • Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and client advisory skills.

Compensation

Salary Range: $150,000/yr - $175,000/yr (based on experience and past performance)

  • Retention Incentive Compensation Plan (paid at Years 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20)
