Commercial & Personal Lines Insurance Agent
Seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial & Personal Lines Insurance Agent to support new business development and ongoing account management. This role is responsible for advising clients on coverage options, building strong relationships, and providing day-to-day service across commercial and personal lines accounts. The ideal candidate brings insurance experience, strong communication skills, and a consultative approach to client support.
Responsibilities
Advise and consult with clients on coverage options based on their insurance needs
Manage and grow a book of business, including renewals, endorsements, and account servicing
Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and cross‑selling opportunities
Review policies for accuracy, coverage alignment, and rating details
Process endorsements, invoices, certificates, proposals, and policy summaries
Work with carriers and business partners to market and quote new and renewal business
Support both personal lines and commercial lines accounts as needed
Partner with internal team members to support client retention and account growth
Assist with additional projects and service‑related initiatives as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
2+ years of insurance experience in personal lines, commercial lines, or both
Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
Ability to meet with clients and provide coverage guidance and risk mitigation strategies
Strong customer service, organizational, and relationship‑building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Compensation Package
Base salary
Commission on new business
