Monday - Friday Dayshift
White Star Machinery is looking for a detailed and organized Rental Yard Attendant to join our growing company. If you enjoy working around construction/ag machinery, take pride in clean machines, and like the feeling of a job well done.
Responsibilities
Preparing equipment: washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs.
Loading and unloading equipment: providing proper instructions on basic operation, checking for damage on returns, documenting condition, loading and unloading on trucks and trailers.
Assisting customers and store: helping with all departments of the store.
Sweeping and cleaning: helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay when needed, trash disposal.
Assist with composing rental agreements.
Additional general labor as assigned.
Qualifications
Positive outlook and excellent communication.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds.
Exposed to outside elements.
One year general labor experience is preferred, but not required.
Valid driver's license in good standing.
